Cadence June Music is the deeply personal project of CJ—a musician and songwriter who uses music as a way to survive, process, and heal. Music has always been CJ’s language, long before words felt safe or sufficient.
CJ currently plays five instruments—clarinet, flute, guitar, ukulele, and violin—and is actively expanding their sound with mandolin and banjo next on the horizon. Each instrument becomes a different voice in the same story, used not for perfection, but for honesty, texture, and emotional truth. Learning is part of the process, and this project grows as CJ does.
Every song is rooted in lived experience—love, loss, resilience, anger, softness, and growth. Cadence June Music exists for people who feel deeply, who’ve lived through hard things, and who are still finding their way forward. It’s about reclaiming voice, creating connection, and turning real moments into something meaningful.
Whether the music is gentle or raw, it is always real. Cadence June Music is CJ showing up as they are—curious, imperfect, and open—and inviting listeners to do the same.
